  • since 2023: Managing director of the EU project COPE “Covering Cohesion Policy in Europe – Training MOOC for European Journalism Students”
  • 2022: interim nanaging editor of the German website of the European Journalism Observatory (EJO)
  • 2020 to 2022: Regional Coordinator for the MENA region at the Erich Brost Institute for International Journalism
    • established the programme "Media Accountability in the MENA region" (in cooperation with Prof. Dr. Susanne Fengler), which covered countries as Algeria, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Sudan, Syria and Tunisia
  • 2014-2019: Country Representative of DW Akademie in Myanmar
  • 2007-2013: Media Expert Advisor to the Executive Director of the Press Council in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as by the GIZ deployed
  • 2003-2007: Media Programme Manager at the Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen e.V.
    • German intermediate of the Stability Pact for South East Europe under the EU Media Task Force and responsible for media development projects in 11 countries in the Western Balkans
  • Consultancy related to Media Accountability and Media Development towards the OSCE, UNESCO, European Commission as well as the Council of Europe
